'Cause You Had A Bad Day OOTD

Hi everyone,

Today. was. officially. a. horrible. day. AND boy am I glad that it will be over soon. First of all, I woke up at 8:20 am. Sounds reasonable, right? I mean, I only had to leave my house at 11 am to get to my 11:45 am class, so I thought "Wow, I'll have all this extra time!". Not so fast... In the shower, I CUT my finger with my razor from shaving (don't ask how!) and it bled so much that when I even overlapped TWO band-aids over the cut, it bled through. Then, I was putting on my make up. For some reason, my hands got really shaky all of a sudden, and I DROPPED my MAC PALETTE! Two eyeshadows shattered... I was able to salvage most of it, but I am still really upset.. Plus one of the hinges broke too :( I was ABOUT to also drop my Dior Quad (went through a juggling act) but caught it! Phew on that one! I paid 60+$ Canadian for that baby!! Then, I wanted to check my e-mail but my labtop kept on saying that the internet connection was UNSUCCESSFUL!! I kept restarting my computer, but it only worked at 10:30... after an hour!! I was also late meeting my friend.. later that night, my mom cut a COUPLE of her fingers!!! She was baking, and some how her fingers got caught in the beater... the lucky thing? That she didn't actually LOSE any!! THANK GOODNESS!! Then I proceeded to burn myself while almost dropping corn! Also, the weather sucked. Yet again. Another rainy and cold day. This weather makes me soo tired and drained. Needless to say, I am glad today is almost over.. and I hope tomorrow will be much better!

As for my outfit today, I wore a pair of Old Navy cropped ankle black pants, a Jacob stripped long sleeve shirt, a navy cardigan from FCUK, a silver bangle from Les Ailes de La Mode, a ring from Aldo, and my black silver buckle flats from Aldo. Hair was in a chignon, 'cause I had my aerobics class today. Not my best OOTD, but I had so many complications this morning, I was lucky to have made it to my morning class on time!

"Breakeven" Tuesday September 29th, 2009 OOTD

Hi everyone,

"What am I gonna do when the best part of me was always you? What am I supposed to say when I'm all choked up and you're okay? I'm falling to pieces." - The Script. LOVE this song right now! Can't stop listening to it!!! :P

Today was yet another rainy and cold day... how many more of these dreaded days must I endure??? I hate that when it rains, I feel so tired and drained... *yawn*.. Today was a good day. Had one class, worked a bit on a group project, mailed something, and then came home. Yes, today is a somewhat REPEAT outfit of a couple of weeks ago... :(... I guess the rain also drained my creativity! LOL... So I just wore my Zara high waisted newspaper skirt, a black tank from F21, a black J.Crew jackie cardigan, black tights, black flats from Aldo, a ring from Aldo, and a silver bangle from Les Ailes. All in all, it was a good day (besides the weather). I have no energy whatsoever to do homework right now, so I might go watch TV or something... maybe Project (Rachel Zoe)...

Monday September 28th, 2009 OOTD

Hi!

Got A LOT of reading to do for the next couple of days!! GAHHH!! Today was a mucky, rainy and COLD day so I just wore something comfortable. I wore a a black bow Zara tunic, black tank from F21, black American Apparel leggings, black flats from Aldo, and a ring from F21.

New Fall Trend

There seems to be so much hype and talk about this new trend for fall... the trend being the colour Green. And there isn't necessarily ONE shade of green that's it... it's ALL shades... all different shades and hues.. from Mint green to Forest green, Green is in. Hm... where have we heard that before? Maybe with all the new hype about going green is catching on with fashion designers too. Maybe this new green trend is their subliminal message to try and get us consumers to be green friendly too.. Hmm... maybe... Or, maybe I'm just overanalyzing it a little to much (Now, where have I heard that one before?? LOL... only my closest friends will get that one). Perhaps its the years of grilling the meaning of SYMBOLISM in my brain from High School and Cegep... Or perhaps, the colour green just really is in because it is. From mint coloured nail polish to jade jewellery, the colour green is taking it's fair share in being one of this season's hottest colours.

My take on the trend: I probably won't be going ALL OUT with this colour, and I definitely won't be wearing pastel green pants! I probably will get some minty green nailpolish [I've been eyeing the Chanel one but it's like 30$(CAN) but I also saw some pretty greens from OPI at a more reasonable price of 12(CAN)]. Also, I want to get a forest green cardigan (perhaps H&M or Zara) and forest green tights (Hue?). Some forest green jewellery would also be fun, but I think that's all far as I'll go with this colour.

Just wanted to let you all know that, yes, Green is in! Have fun with colours, styles, and fashion. How will you incorporate this gorgeous colour into your fall wardrobe?

September 24th, 2009 OOTD!

Hello everyone!

Had an okay day... Had a morning class, then went to mail two packages, went to buy a textbook, and then I went home. I got home at around 12pm so I watched WNTW and AMC. OMG, OMG, OMG! I cannot wait for the TWO HOUR SEASON PREMIERE OF GREY'S ANATOMY!! I AM SOO EXCITED!! LOL!

Anyways, today I wore a black tank top from F21, my J.Crew black Jackie cardigan, a black, white, and grey skirt from Zara (NOT the newsprint one), black tights, a silver bangle from Les Ailes de la Mode, a black flower ring from LeChateau, my friendship necklace, and black leather flats from Browns. Also, my "school bag" made an appearance in this one!! It's by Matt & Nat. Overall, definitely an improvement from yesterday's FAILED OOTD! LOL..

Also, I got my learner's permit in the mail!! An awful picture.. but that day was just plain horrible... so I can't complain. Plus, I can (if I pass the test) get my license in a year, so I won't have to look at my horrid picture for that long! hehe.

Wednesday September 23rd, 2009 OOTD!

Hi everyone,

This was my OOTD today. Went shopping yesterday, and I picked up this long vest from H&M. After wearing it today, I'm not sure if I really like it or not... I'll see... Maybe it's the way I wore it.. makes me look hippy... But I had seen a girl wearing the brown version, and it looked awesome on her, but I couldn't find the brown one (pictured below from H&M Fall 2009 Ad Campaign). Anyways, it was a humid, rainy day plus I had an aerobics class so I just wanted something easy and comfy. I wore a white tanktop from H&M, a white long sleeve shirt from Gap, black leggings from American Apparel, a long grey knit vest from H&M, and a Ralph Lauren leather belt. For accessories, I wore some F21 gold bangles, a gold necklace with a pendant from my grandmother, and a gold ring from F21. Lastly, I just wore some gold flats from Browns to tie everything together. MY hair was up today too, because of my aerobics class and because of the weather. And I also changed the location of my picture taking today (sorry...my room's mirror is very dirty... I just realized from the pictures.. lol). Will be going back to my original location tomorrow. Anyways, that's it. Long, tiring day... glad it's over.

First Day of Fall OOTD!!

So, today is officially the first day of Fall!! Well, from 5:19pm apparently it was... I can't wait to wear more leggings, dark colours, blazers, skirts, cardigans, and tights!! =P I had bought a navy blazer from a thrift shop for 9.99$ last year, but it's a little boxy on me so I want to get it tailored... I wonder if it'll be worth it. I also had bought a black one... but I have to find it... LOL! Today was a great day with my three friends... We had ice cream and it was yummy!!! So yummy... especially my cookies and cream ice cream! Anyways, my OOTD was a white tank top from H&M, a light grey ruffled cardigan from Kersh (The Bay), dark blue skinny jeans from American Eagle Outfitters, a silver bangle from Les Ailes de La Mode, my friendship necklace, and silver flats from Michael Kors :)

ps: Please do not mind my frizzy hair... It was raining AND humid today... :( I straightened it this morning, but by the end of the day, it came to this.. *sigh*... what's a girl to do...

Monday September 21st 2009 OOTD!

Hello my loves,

Today was Monday, and it was a wonderful day! I had my aerobics class and then spent the afternoon with my three awesome, amazing, wonderful friends!! Yesterday, I watched a tutorial of Lauren Conrad's famous braid so I decided to try it too today. Since I was going to my aerobics class, I put the rest of my hair in a quick bun. As for my OOTD, I wore my American Apparel Grey Tri-blend Deep V T-shirt, American Apparel black leggings, my H&M Grey cardigan/shawl, my friendship necklace, my 5$ ring, a silver bangle from les Ailes de la Mode, and my Aldo silver buckle black flats.

New blog!!

Hi everyone,


So, just for those who are interested, I have decided to create a new blog just for my daily thoughts. I thought that it would be better to have two blogs, one for my OOTDs and fashion/beauty ideas, and one separate for my daily thoughts. September 17th, 2009 (No photos) :'(

No OOTD today because my battery died on me this morning, so I couldn't take a picture. Then I couldn't find my charger (eventually did find it but then I had already changed into my comfy clothes). I wore a French Connection dress with an animal print pattern on it (in black, grey, and white colours), with black tights, my black leather shoes from Browns, a black ring from LeChateau, and a silver bracelet from Les Ailes de la Mode.

I might put the outfit back on (just to take a picture of it) tomorrow to post. If not, I'm sure I'll be wearing this dress again!

September 16th, 2009 OOTD!!

I had my exercise class today and boy am I sore! My thighs are in so much pain!! Today, since I had my exercise class in between my two regular classes, I wore something easy to change out of. I wore a blazer from H&M, a flower cotton T-shirt from J. Crew, a white tank from H&M (under the T-shirt), black capris from Old Navy, a ring from Aldo, a headband from my Etsy site, and flats from Browns. I love these shoes!! They remind me of the oh-so-lovely flats from Chanel (without the overly expensive price tag, of course! Mine were about 100$). See picture below.
